The machine sorts coins into 16 tubes–four tubes per column for each denomination (penny, nickel, dime, and quarter). The sorter automatically advances the next coin tube when the preceding one is filled and unlike lesser models, it stops automatically when a column of coin tubes have been filled to prevent jamming. The machine also accepts commercial-quality pre-formed coin wrappers (starter supply included) that enable convenient handling of counted coins. The unit’s hopper holds up to 800 coins and its 26-rpm motor sorts 312 coins per minute.
